This section is dedicated solely to the SUVs and minivans, we will give you a some information about each one to get you started on your research.
Honda CRV

It is no secret that Honda makes a good car, in fact, their cars seem to find their way to the top of ‘best of’ and ‘best selling’ lists everywhere.
The CRV has been manufactured since 1996 and and is basically the SUV version of the Honda Civic. It is a toss up as to what CRV stands for, so take your pick, ‘Compact Recreational Vehicle’ or ‘Comfortable Runabout Vehicle’.
Whichever one you choose, the CRV is Honda’s smallest entry-level SUV and among the best selling SUVs around, not just popular in the North American market but worldwide as well.
Toyota Rav4

Introduced in North America in 1996 to satisfy consumers need for a smaller vehicle with more cargo space and a four-wheel drive option, the Rav4 quickly became a popular ride for kids of all ages.
The name stands for ‘Recreational Activity Vehicle, 4-wheel drive’ although some models are only 2-wheel drive. One of the smallest SUVs Toyota offers, the Rav4 is a member of a brand known for longevity and quality.
It is no wonder that the Rav4 made it to the list of best sellers
Honda Odyssey

In the best selling minivan category we have another Honda model, the Honda Odyssey. Produced since 1995 the Odyssey became a split personality in 1999 when a larger model was marketed to North America and a smaller model for Japan and the rest of the world.
The first minivan with flat folding third row seats, that was about the only redeeming quality of the Odyssy’s first generation. Built on the Accord platform with four outward swinging doors, it was truly a prototype.
Honda always seems to pull through and with each generation this mini van became better and better, until now it is a popular minivan model both new and used.
GMC Acadia

The Acadia is a fullsize crossover SUV that has only been in production since 2006, however it has quickly risen to the top of the best selling lists.
It is also GMC’s first front wheel drive passenger vehicle in production, (with the exception of a motorhome they built in the 70’s). Although it is a full sized SUV, it boasts impressive performance and superior gas mileage than many others in it’s class.
With seating for eight and the convenience of an SUV, and of course they offer all the bells and whistles that we’ve come to expect from our vehicles.
Leave it to GMC to build us a good truck.
Honda Pilot

The third Honda on our list of SUVs and minivans is the Honda Pilot. Released in 2002, this SUV is the Odyssey’s tougher little brother. Built stronger to withstand a light off-roading lifestyle, (although everything we read said the Pilot’s off-roading capacity was limited to curb jumping).
A good seller for Honda, this little SUV sells well in North America, Japan and Australia. Loved for it’s interior space and towing capacity it managed to fill a niche for American consumers.
We say, Honda knows their cars, trucks and SUV’s.
Toyota Highlander

Last we come to the second Toyota on the list, the Highlander. The Highlander is a crossover SUV and has been sold in North America since 2002.
It’s size and capability places it between the 4Runner and the RAV4 (above) in the market and it has been a wildly successful SUV for Toyota.
With a hybrid option which uses Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive technology and has been offered to the public since 2005. It costs a little more folks, but the end, the cost to our environment is worth it.
