Did you already know we buy cars in Phoenix, but you can’t figure out why? There are many reasons a smart company would invest in buying cars from Arizona’s capital city, one of which is the diversity of inventory. Only five cities in the United States are larger than Phoenix, so when we buy cars in Phoenix we have access to thousands! Additionally, the large amount of land area Phoenix covers makes it a city of drivers – when we buy cars in Phoenix, we are buying from drivers who needed to take care of their vehicles to get them where they were going. Cash For cars makes it easy.

Previous damage is one of the top concerns when purchasing any used car. When we buy cars in Phoenix, AZ we are happy to find cars that have been well taken care of in the dry, desert climate. Tinting a car’s windows help keep the car’s interior from fading. A car with a clean grill and radiator will have a healthier engine and air conditioner than a car whose grill and radiator are full of debris. A clean, sealed paint job will help ensure the least amount of damage from wind, powerful UV rays and sand. Every time we buy cars in Phoenix, we inspect them for damage and make a fair offer. Getting cash for your car in Phoenix has never been easier.

We have found that when we buy cars in Phoenix, Arizona we rarely find cars who have been victims of water damage. Auto-buyers all over the country worry about electrical, engine and fuel supply damage caused by flooding, excessive humidity or rain but when we buy cars in Phoenix these issues are not as relevant as they are in other places. Desert climates help keep many cars rust free. We buy cars in Phoenix, AZ on a regular basis fitted with tires that have never seen snow. Phoenicians enjoy the beautiful northeastern Sonoran Desert instead of snow capped mountains, and although the Salt River has had some famous flooding, the subtropical arid climate is mostly hot and dry.

We buy cars in Phoenix, Arizona to make it easier for Phoenicians to sell them. Options are tantamount in the auto industry, and increasing the ease of the car buying and selling process is possible. People selling their cars in Phoenix should know that we buy all types of cars in Phoenix, AZ which make us better than companies or car lots who focus on a specific make or model of car.

Recently MyRide.com, Autobytel’s consumer website for all things automotive, looked into which used cars were being researched the most on its site.

The findings are valuable if you are selling a used car and your model happens to be on the list. The site also includes a neat “Expect to Pay” range which can offer guidance about what to anticipate.

To sell your car, of many factors that can come into play – mileage, condition, color, location, etc. – having a used vehicle high on any “desired list” is hugely positive.

The MyRide.com list is not a scientific survey, but it’s a site with a good number of site visits by people looking to buy and sell cars, or auto parts, or for general used car information and used car advice.

So the results have value in terms of the most-researched used cars, and providing insight to help sell a used car. The end result, a list of 15 makes/models but without years, was topped by the Ford Mustang.

The site says demand for the Mustang keeps its used-car price reasonable, that one could expect to pay $12,000 to $24,000 for a used version. Not bad for a V-6 or V-8 engine, and the neat retro styling of recent models.

If you’re selling a used car and it’s a Mustang, congratulations. You’re better off than most in the market to sell a used vehicle.

Split between American and Import in Selling a Used Car

To sell your car, the fact that it’s homemade or built overseas doesn’t seem to matter.

Looking at the list broadly, something that jumps out is the split between American models and otherwise. Chevrolet, Ford and Jeep carried seven of the 15 used cars on the list.

Chevrolet carried four, while Toyota has three on the list. Volkswagen, BMW and Nissan had one each.

When thinking, “Got to sell car,” hope that it’s a Honda. No. 2 on the list is the Honda Civic, followed by the Honda Accord.

Honda’s reputation for reliability and fuel efficiency continues to resonate with people buying a used car, something those selling a used car would be wise to take advantage of.

MyRide.com says those out to sell cars can expect to get $9,000 to $16,000 for a used Civic, and $14,000 to $20,000 for a used Accord. Both models come in smart sedan, coupe and hybrid versions.

No. 4, the Ford F-150, is rather a surprise considering gas prices. Used car information indicates that some people need a full-size pickup truck, whether for work, play or otherwise.

It’s been the best-selling truck in the United States for three decades, so if you own one your ability to sell your used car is greatly improved. The interest seems to be there.

Selling a Used Car to the Right Segment of Buyers

Another surprise is the Jeep Wrangler in fifth place. Just as some people must have a big truck, others think they have to own a vehicle truly off-road able. Expect to get $10,000 to $24,000 for a Wrangler when you sell your car if it’s this model.

The next six on the list vary greatly, from luxury to sports cars to a full-size pickup truck to several Toyota models including the ever-reliable Camry – a perennial top model when it comes to selling a used car.

The BMW 3 Series placed sixth, the Chevy Corvette seventh. The BMW 3 Series offers choice in varied styles, from coupes to convertibles to wagons.

The Corvette maintains its V-8 engine-only stance, and you can expect to get $34,000 to $48,000 in selling your used car if you’re willing to part with an American icon.

The Toyota Camry placed eighth, lower than expected by auto experts. More surprising is the Chevrolet Silverado at ninth; perhaps large truck lovers think Silverado owners are ready to sell a car fast to save at the pump – and the price will be nice.

Following were the Toyota Tacoma and the Toyota Corolla, two very dependable models in the Sell Car and Sell Car Fast World.

Concluding the MyRide.com list is, in order, the Nissan Altima, Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Camaro and Volkswagen Jetta.

Interest in a used Impala and Camaro is different because neither is known for great fuel efficiency. Recent-edition Impalas are not all that sexy outside, but comfortable inside; the Camaro maintains V-8 power, but interest seems to have waned in recent years.

August 2008, if there ever was a bad time to bet your livelihood on selling luxury items, this is it.

Lately, so much has been written about it and free-fall car sales figures and the economy, why waste time explaining?

The fact of the matter is, after a few years of fat sales and robust revenue figures, those who produce luxury cars are finally being forced to design and market in a brave new world.

Predicting the Future

The automotive world can be like that, designing and producing new models takes a lot of time and money. No one can predict what the market will demand in a month, let alone two years in the future.

Building cars en masse to deliver to a waiting public is no simple task.

Just 30 months ago automakers were pumping out luxury cars at a frenetic pace to meet demand. You would, too, if your product jumped off the shelves or showrooms that fast.

Then, for whatever reason – greedy home-loan financers, the President, war, global warming, whatever – the bottom fell out.

Some industries could adjust quickly, others like the homebuilding and auto industries, take time to absorb the blow.

Selling a Car in Horse Latitudes

We are now beginning to see how luxury car makers plan to combat the economic doldrums.

Just this month, Automotive News reported that Acura, Honda’s luxury division, plans to add its first new vehicle since the RDX small crossover in August 2006.

Acura was the first Japanese luxury import, created to tap into the Mercedes-BMW market. The brand carries Honda’s reputation for quality construction and dependability, and maintains strong fuel economy almost across the board.

It triggered a movement that resulted in Toyota’s Lexus and Nissan’s Infiniti brands, among others.

It didn’t take long for Acura to establish itself for quality, value, and competitive pricing. For more than 20 years the concept worked, and worked well.

Then things started going sideways, leaving Acura executives hustling to adapt.

Company executives started talking about becoming a “tier 1 luxury brand,” starting with a new car that might or not be a coupe, by 2010. This will be Acura’s first new car since the redesigned NSX sports car.

But sources say the new car will be priced in the vicinity of $50,000 – hardly a figure sensitive to recessionary times.

Redesigned to Sell

Overall the division’s sales are down about 15%, and no one knows whether the following month will improve – or worsen.

Interesting is what an Acura dealer in the Los Angeles area recently told Automotive News: “We need to start creating more buzz about our products.”

Acura’s plan? A redesigned TL.

The company says the new TL will have better styling and interior features, and improved technology to assist drivers.

The question is – and this is true for almost all luxury car makers – will it shift Acura’s direction toward newer and broader markets?

Time will tell, but at least the division’s history bodes well.

In its 22 years of existence, Acura has delivered several industry breakthroughs, many envied by its competitors.

Acura introduced the first all-aluminum production car, a state-of-the-art all-wheel handling transmission, and consistently offers high-tech equipment such as global navigation systems and wireless connectivity.

Acura models are pleasurable to drive, packed with attractive features, and more affordable than what their European competitors offer.

But is it enough during an era when the motoring public are becoming leaner and meaner?
