Sorry, what a stupid idea to take the beautiful fuselage Imperial on a worst car list! Only a person never was in touch with this great automobile can act like this. The 1969-71 Imperials are the best Chrysler products ever, a timeless sleek design, best materials, a high quality product made in USA, this cars are playing in the same league like Mercedes, Porsche and Bentley! There are not many other american cars out there built in that high international standard. The 440 is a great engine, this Imperials are no gas guzzlers like the modern SUVs the 1970 Imperial has better gas milage than a 2004 Escalade. This Imperials and 440 engines are a mechanical masterpice in automotive history like a Rolex is in watches. I own a 1970 Imperial LeBaron myself and would never ever sell this car for any reason and think about a 1920s Duesenberg was a larger car why dont you take the Duesenberg in your worst car list?

The 71 Imperial LeBaron was indeed overly large but to mention them in the same "worst cars" list as Pintos and Gremlins is unfair. These were mechanically good, solid and dependable cars. The 440 is a great engine and was smaller than other other competing engines in similar sized cars offered by the competition. If you researched a little harder, I am sure you could find plenty of cars that would fit the "worst cars" list by virtue of their poor performance, repair records, etc. instead of being included just by size.
